The New York Botanical Garden in the fall is a stunner. When you add in a gorgeous couple like Heather and Jason then it just becomes that much more gorgeous. Thanks to Erica Gannett and Bobby Joe Smith for the help.
valerie & charlie / a quick stop
I had met Charlie a few years back in San Diego, he had always been a big proponent of my photography and being a man with a cam himself, he knows what he wants for his and Valerie's photos. So a few months ago, Charlie and Valerie traveled up from Virginia and bringing their love of swing dance and books, we hopped all around Manhattan.
kristin & phil / love you more
I landed in San Diego the day before the wedding and went to the baggage carousel and my bag never showed. I came in too late at night to buy clothes and had to drive up to Corona del Mar too early for anything to be open so I had to head to the wedding with the random clothes I had left at my parents home in San Diego. While the clothes I wear to a wedding is usually the last thing I care about, the traveling had made me a little more frazzled than usual.
But as soon as I entered Kristin's parents home for the getting ready photographs, all the stress and insecurities subsided because I was surrounded by some of the sweetest people I had met (and known, its my 4th wedding between the family/friend groups), so all I had to focus on was where to find the love. So a big thanks to Luis Godinez for being my right hand man for the day, Lauren from Christie Rose Events for making everything run so beautifully and Pottery Barn for decking out the designs.
You might want to also check out the Style Me Pretty feature of the wedding, so you can see all the pretty details there.
megan & adam / coast to coast
Megan & Adam might be the world's most photographed couple (well besides celebrities) and for good reason, they just look so good, haha. Megan and Adam were visiting New York from Los Angeles and asked me to photograph them in Brooklyn. They had this amazing sublet in Greenpoint and I was excited to start there and then go around the neighborhood. Also, be sure to check out Megan's photography and Adam's videography, such a perfect pair.
lindsey & brett / a perfect union
Simple. Classic. Understated. These are the perfect words to describe Lindsey and Brett's wedding at 501 Union in Brooklyn. As soon as I walked into the venue the ideas began brewing and upon seeing Lindsey in her dress and Brett in his suit, I knew. I knew that this wedding was going to be amazing. The love that exuded between these two and their friends and family was simply infectious. A big thanks to Bobby for assisting me as well as Jove Meyer Events for the coordination.
