Chaz Cruz has spent nearly two decades photographing weddings the way he wishes they were always documented — with an editorial eye, a photojournalist's instincts, and a genuine investment in the people in front of his lens.

Originally from San Diego, Chaz trained at the Hallmark Institute of Photography, graduating in the top 10% of his class. He has been recognized as one of Rangefinder Magazine's 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography and named a Top Photographer by Brides Magazine, with work featured in Green Wedding Shoes, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, and more.

With over 250 weddings photographed, Chaz has built a reputation that speaks entirely through the people he has worked with. He calls Mexico City home, though New York is where he built his business and where much of his heart still lives. He works across both cities and follows great love stories wherever they lead, from intimate elopements in the mountains to multi-day celebrations across continents.
