Kirra Cheers is an internationally recognized, award-winning photographer whose work is raw, emotive, and deeply revealing. Originally from Australia and now based in New York City, she brings a quiet intensity to every shoot that puts people at ease without them ever noticing.
She holds an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Photography and in 2012 was named one of Rangefinder Magazine's 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography. She was awarded Young Creative Australian of the Year by Lost at E Minor and currently serves as Artist in Residence for Mad Gene Media, a NYC production company founded by Oscar Isaac and Elvira Lind.
With over 15 years in the industry spanning weddings, fashion, commercial, and documentary work, Kirra brings a rare breadth of experience to every assignment. She is available for weddings and elopements throughout New York and beyond.
