I headed out to Palm Springs a few weeks ago to hang out with Cindy & Charlton at their favorite getaway in the desert, the Ace Hotel. This one had everything, cuteness, romance, sexiness and even a pool. Definitely one of my favorite engagements to date.
cynthia & mel / an open canvas
Last year, I went to Sonoma, CA for the epic party to celebrate the love of Cynthia and Mel. They told me that their venue, the Cornerstone Sonoma, had an ever changing installation of landscape art. And man, we had some fun with it. Thanks to Ari Simphoukham for coming up and helping me for the day.
humda & rizwan / circle of love
Late last year I headed down to the Baltimore harbor for the wedding of Humda and Rizwan. It was a gorgeous (and windy!) three day celebration of their union together. Respecting their culture, I have refrained from posting the ceremonies, so I leave you with some of my favorite candids and portraits. A big thanks to Danielle of Danfredo Photography for rocking the first two days with me.
ireland
Last month, Natalie and I traveled to Ireland. It was my first time in Europe and it was in the land that birthed Irish whiskey and Guinness. What could be better? I wanted to take more photographs of everything but I just had to put the camera's down and have it all sink in. So apologies for the randomness, but no apologies in featuring my girlfriend Natalie in the majority of these photos. All taken with either my iPhone or FujiX100.
katie & greg / around the square
Whenever I get to photograph a dog, especially a dope dog like Larry, its always hilarious to see the expressions that they give me. They seem so aware (and averse) to the camera that I can't help but crack up as I can see what they're thinking, which is, "get that camera out of my face." You gotta love pets. And you gotta love Katie and Greg, who took me around their neighborhood for some fun photographs. I also wanted to share their Save the Date, which is designed by my friend and designer, Patricia Kim of Fourteen-Forty who is working with me on some branding (if I can ever send her my writeups), so definitely check out her work.
