anh + tony / wedding day
I had met Tony back at San Diego State University when we were both pursuing our degrees in Multimedia, we worked together on web design and he would refer to me as "Bill Gates." We kept in touch after college and when I went off to photography school he changed my name to "Ansel Adams," so clever Tony. We started the day with Anh at her parents house to photograph the getting ready as well as the tea ceremony, then headed to downtown San Diego to photograph the bridal party at Bar Basic and finished off the night at Coronado Community Center. A big thanks to Marissa Rodriguez for 2nd shooting and Kim Marcelo for the assist.

anne marie + JT / bay bombing
I flew up to the bay last year to photograph the wedding of Anne Marie and JT in Walnut Creek. The bridal party rolled around town in some sweet classic cars provided by the Bay Bombs Car Club, so you knew this wedding was going to be hot. We started the getting ready shots at the Renaissance Club Sport then went off to St. Anne's Church. We finished off the evening with the reception held at Shadelands Art Center where we kicked off the party old school. A big thanks to Bay Area photographer Delbarr Moradi for 2nd shooting with me, check out her blog post on the wedding to see some amazing details. View the wedding slideshow at the bottom of the post.
jen + dan / beer me
Jen and Dan had a wedding theme near and dear to my heart, beer. Lovely lovely beer. We photographed their first look at the Pearl Hotel in Point Loma then headed off for more formals at, you guessed it, a bar. Toronado in North Park were gracious enough to host us and the bridal party. Then we headed over to the Oceanview Room Naval Sub Base for the ceremony and reception. A big thanks to Marissa Rodriguez for photographing with me and getting some great shots with Dan and the boys.
First look.
Oh Dan, big fail, haha.
Loved how they had their guests throw the little rug pom poms, I had to have them throw them at me. Also, if you're wondering why there are more guys in the bridal party, Jen had some "bro-maids" in the lighter grey suits. It was great, except that I kept forgetting to call them bro-maids and ended up calling them brides-dudes.

katie + nick / wedding day
Katie and Nick had one of my favorite engagement sessions from last year, so it was fitting that they also had one of my favorite weddings. They had their ceremony and reception at the Rancho Bernardo Inn and it was beautifully detailed by Jennifer J. Designs.
