Art and love. Love and art. Love is art. Suin and Jeffrey.
cheryl & eugene / monochrome dream
When I did my first entry on this new blog, I had a wedding where I did all the edits but something kept pulling at me. I had seen the classic shadows, the shadowed emotions and the love that needed no extra palette. When I looked back at Cheryl and Eugene's wedding, the same feelings were instilled in me. I did this wedding last year at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica with an amazing team that consisted of planner extraordinaire, Wilmarose of Lovely Jubilee, my 2nd photographer Stephanie Yang the flower queen herself, Ivie Joy of Ivie Joy Flowers. So enjoy my grayscale post but if you want to see all the details and the like, please visit Bridal Musings who posted all about their wedding on their blog today.
maddy & paul / stars and skies
When Maddy and Paul came in and told me how close they lived to Pok Pok in Brooklyn and said they would put my name down whenever I wanted, I had to make sure to photograph their wedding (still haven't collected on that guys). But really, these two are the sweetest and they brought everyone to share in their love. They even took me down to Love Lane, fitting, especially for them. Enjoy their photos and thanks to Shannon Sturgis for photographing this one with me.
helen & anthony / cinema verite
Helen and Anthony. Match made in Heaven, seriously. They brought me out to San Francisco last year and we had a good ole time. With the help of my kaibigan (friend in Tagalog) Jonathan, the dude half of Encarnacion Photography, we proceeded to go around SF and create some killer stuff. Feel free to check out all the pretty details from their feature on The Knot while I'll provide my favorites below.
cindy & charlton / nothing but blue skies
Cindy & Charlton make everything easy, from our dope engagement session in Palm Springs to their cool wedding in Los Angeles. We had the awesome backdrop of Hotel Wilshire and then the SmogShoppe to showcase their love and with the design and direction of After the Engagement, everything went without a hitch. This blog post will be portrait heavy so if you want to see the details, head over to 100 Layer Cake to see their feature. Also, a big thanks to associate photographer Kim Marcelo and tiny assistant (and awesome wedding blogger) Lydia of Ever Ours for the help.
