Well hello blog, its been a while. Popping back out for 2017, I wanted to start the blog off right with this rad wedding at the Museum of the Moving Image. Elizabeth and Adam are stars, stars in life, stars to each other and stars to everyone they love and who love them back. So it was fitting that these two get their screen time and showcase their love via the big screen. With an all-star cast of Color Pop Events, Sachi Rose Floral Design, Bruno’s on the Boulevard and Glam Squad, we started at the Paper Factory hotel then headed to the museum to light up Queens with an epic party. Check out my favorites here as well as view their feature on Offbeat Bride, where you can see more killer shots and gorgeous details. Also a big thank you to Alisha Seigel for shooting this one with me.
This one, so much yes. I had the opportunity to travel to New Zealand with the always awesome Tim Twinem of Velare. We were there to witness my friends Stephanie and MC taking the plunge on top of the world. Not much to say with this one except that the two days felt surreal, we fought the elements and the everything else to create and it is some of my favorite imagery that I've created. We also got a feature on Junebug Weddings and one image was accepted into their 2016 Best of the Best Destination Photography collection.
Five dates. Five dates was the challenge that Christine and Ted's pastor issued to them to see if they were made for each other. And as you can see, they were. Along with the incomparable Jove Meyer, we descended upon DUMBO and 26 Bridge for one of the most gorgeous weddings I've ever been a part of. With the team of Kim Marcelo, A.P. Bio, and Real Food Catering, we were honored to grace the August/September issue of Brides Magazine.
Allan was one of the first friends I made in New York back in 2010 and we've been tight ever since. We've done a lot together in the last 6 years and him and Kat were actually instrumental in introducing me to Natalie, who is now my fiancée. So to say I love these two and owe them a lot is an understatement. With Kat and Allan being together for over 10+ years, when he told me he was ready to marry Kat, I knew my gift for them would be to photograph their wedding and portraits.
Natalie and I headed over to Kat and Allan's place in Clinton Hill where I photographed them getting ready and Natalie started with Kat's hair and makeup. With Kat working as a designer at Steve Madden, her shoes were specially designed just for the wedding. After their first look, we headed out on a rainy day in April to head to the marriage bureau in Manhattan. Joined by his awesome bosses and friends from the showroom he works at, Nutty Rice, we celebrated their love. A few days later, we went over to Black Bear Bar in Williamsburg to party even more, it was the perfect wedding for a perfect pair.
