Cindy & Charlton make everything easy, from our dope engagement session in Palm Springs to their cool wedding in Los Angeles. We had the awesome backdrop of Hotel Wilshire and then the SmogShoppe to showcase their love and with the design and direction of After the Engagement, everything went without a hitch. This blog post will be portrait heavy so if you want to see the details, head over to 100 Layer Cake to see their feature. Also, a big thanks to associate photographer Kim Marcelo and tiny assistant (and awesome wedding blogger) Lydia of Ever Ours for the help.
elizabeth & justin / city classics
Elizabeth and Justin are one of my favorite couples, not only did they show me the Friends building when we shot their engagement (which is now relevant since I watch friends religiously as I work) but they also put their trust in me for all things photo related. Starting at the Waldorf Astoria then heading to Central Park, we then hit their ceremony at the Church of the Holy Family and the party began when we got to the Yale Club. Their wedding had all the makings of perfect NYC wedding and it didn't disappoint. A big thanks to Sheena Kim of Unique Lapin for always being my favorite person rocking the second camera. Our friends at Carats & Cake wanted to feature it, so check them out there as well and get all the details.
joanna & marcus / in the trees
Joanna and Marcus' wedding last June was a mix of classic New York and gorgeous traditions. The backdrop of the New York Botanical Garden is always one of my favorites, especially when you add in a stunning sunset. The Stone Mill housed their celebration as we partied into the night. A big thanks to Sheena Kim of Unique Lapin for always being my favorite person rocking the second camera. Enjoy.
keri & elliot / how you like it
When Keri and I met for the first time, the conversation was effortless. Her coming from a costume design background, she had ideas and a vision for how she wanted her wedding to be. Little did I know how much her vision has grown leaps and bounds, as she is now about to launch Ceremonia next month with her business partner, Shelby, an online bridal concept store. We're now working on a project together which you will see soon, but until then you can see the collaboration between myself, Keri and her now-husband, Elliot and what we created for their wedding day in Vermont. A big thanks to Sheena Kim of Unique Lapin for always being my favorite person rocking the second camera. Enjoy.
katelyn & kris / in the neighborhood
Some of my favorite weddings are the ones with no fuss, the ones where its just about the people and the emotion of the day. Katelyn and Kris had that idea, just have some fun taking photos, get married, then enjoy the eat and drink. They wanted to get married in their neighborhood of West Village before they jetted off to London for work, so they had their family and friends fly in from around the country to revel in their nuptials. We started at their home and then headed out to their favorite bar, Entwine, for a few snaps and drinks. We ended at Bobo where we met with everyone to lock in their love. So enjoy a view of their neighborhood.
