I'll be in Puerto Rico from May 5th through the 10th, so I'll return all emails and calls when I return. Until then, here's a pic of photographer James Law that I took a few days ago.
anh + tony / wedding day
I had met Tony back at San Diego State University when we were both pursuing our degrees in Multimedia, we worked together on web design and he would refer to me as "Bill Gates." We kept in touch after college and when I went off to photography school he changed my name to "Ansel Adams," so clever Tony. We started the day with Anh at her parents house to photograph the getting ready as well as the tea ceremony, then headed to downtown San Diego to photograph the bridal party at Bar Basic and finished off the night at Coronado Community Center. A big thanks to Marissa Rodriguez for 2nd shooting and Kim Marcelo for the assist.

courtney + blake / beachside engagement
Here's a fun engagement session for you, I met up with Courtney and Blake at Tower 23 Hotel in Pacific Beach. We went under Crystal Pier for a bit then headed down to Mission Bay to play in Belmont Park. It was a gorgeous day in San Diego and perfect for some beach weather.
jen + dan / beer me
Jen and Dan had a wedding theme near and dear to my heart, beer. Lovely lovely beer. We photographed their first look at the Pearl Hotel in Point Loma then headed off for more formals at, you guessed it, a bar. Toronado in North Park were gracious enough to host us and the bridal party. Then we headed over to the Oceanview Room Naval Sub Base for the ceremony and reception. A big thanks to Marissa Rodriguez for photographing with me and getting some great shots with Dan and the boys.
First look.
Oh Dan, big fail, haha.
Loved how they had their guests throw the little rug pom poms, I had to have them throw them at me. Also, if you're wondering why there are more guys in the bridal party, Jen had some "bro-maids" in the lighter grey suits. It was great, except that I kept forgetting to call them bro-maids and ended up calling them brides-dudes.
To the left is Tyler Cristobal, he designed the coaster and Jen & Dan mask illustrations.
selle + christian / back in the day
Literally had a throwback engagement session with Selle and Christian, we went to their friends house in Chula Vista to go with the old school vibe since they had a sweet tree swing. Really who has a tree swing in South Bay San Diego? After, we went to the site where they first met, Bell Junior High School in Paradise Hills (also my old school) to complete the experience.
