Elizabeth and Justin are one of my favorite couples, not only did they show me the Friends building when we shot their engagement (which is now relevant since I watch friends religiously as I work) but they also put their trust in me for all things photo related. Starting at the Waldorf Astoria then heading to Central Park, we then hit their ceremony at the Church of the Holy Family and the party began when we got to the Yale Club. Their wedding had all the makings of perfect NYC wedding and it didn't disappoint. A big thanks to Sheena Kim of Unique Lapin for always being my favorite person rocking the second camera. Our friends at Carats & Cake wanted to feature it, so check them out there as well and get all the details.
cynthia & eli / away we go
What happens when you put together a dope couple with a dope venue? You get a dope wedding. Cynthia and Eli's love for each other is apparent in every look and glance and it was my pleasure to capture it all. It also doesn't hurt that Refinery29 featured them as one of five of the best NYC weddings of 2014 and that they were also featured on Brooklyn Bride. With an all star team Brooklyn team of Naturally Delicious, August Sage & Violet, Morgan Gates, and Styles on B under the roof of 501 Union, I knew it was going to be just that. A big thanks to Silvia Foz for manning the 2nd camera and my favorite sprite of a videographer, Courtney of Love + Brain Films for capturing the moving love (see her highlight reel at the end of the post).
kate & steve / cityscapes
Kate and Steve were the most low key couple I have ever had the pleasure of working with. All they wanted were cool portraits and to showcase the party with their friends, what else could you ask for? How about an amazing backdrop for their portraits (the hotel and rooftop of The Nolitan Hotel) and the coolest party space for their wedding (PUBLIC)? With Michelle Elaine Weddings filling the space with great details, I knew this one would be a lot of fun. Also a big thanks to Shannon Sturgis for covering this one with me and if you want to see more details and the rest of the vendors, check out the feature on Ruffled.
jessie & mike / speaking of
What happens when you have laryngitis on your wedding day? You exude your emotions to your family, friends and husband-to-be with everything but your voice. While Jessie may have had a hard time vocalizing herself, you wouldn't even be able to tell through her smile. Thanks to Shannon Sturgis for being alongside me as well as Danielle and Will of Danfredo Photo + Films for making a dope video, which you can see at the end of the post. Also, a big thanks to Wedding Party for featuring Jessie and Mike's nuptials, check out their blog for more photos and details as well as their app for all your wedding day needs.
andrea & bryn / hand in hand
I've been waiting to blog Andrea and Bryn's wedding, as they are some of my favorite people out there. The love, humility and sincere sweetness that exudes from them can light up any room and it doesn't hurt that they are drop dead gorgeous as well. You might remember their engagement session that spanned coast to coast, now enjoy their wedding that was also featured on Style Me Pretty. From there you can see all the pretty details that After the Engagement and so many other amazing vendors put together, I'll showcase my personal favorites here. A big thanks to Jennifer Sosa and my associate Kim Marcelo for photographing with me and I also got to work alongside my great friend Tim Twinem of Velare Imaginarium, who's video is at the end. Enjoy
