rita + chad / san francisco vibes

Chaz Cruz

It's been a long time since I've blogged and I'm getting back in the habit. A full season flying back and forth from San Diego and NYC has taken its toll on my social media, but this should be a fun way to get the ball rolling. A few months ago I went to San Francisco to photograph a bridal session with a friend of mine Rita and her husband Chad. They got married in Bora Bora so they wanted to get some portraits done in San Francisco where they reside. Rita and I have been friends since high school and we got into the wedding industry at the same time, me with photography and her with makeup. She is an extremely talented makeup artist, so brides if you are in the San Diego or San Francisco area, definitely check out her work.

jelynna + aj / underwater bridals

Chaz Cruz

Jelynna, AJ and I had been planning this underwater bridal session when we first booked their wedding, I was actually more excited for this shoot then going off to Hawaii for their wedding, haha. I loved that Jelynna used two dresses for the bridal session, so we can get some different pops of color, it definitely added a different dimension. A big big thanks to Marissa Rodriguez, who helped out as well as took shots 5 and 6 from way down in the pool, she is a way better swimmer than I am. Also to July Chanthamart for the hair and makeup. underwater bridals - chaz cruz photography
